Which HLD Author export should I choose?
HLD Author provides several export targets. Choose the target that matches both the display and the playback system.
musubi
Choose the musubi target for content that will be transferred with the musubi app. This creates portrait H.264 media prepared for the 7-inch display.
HLD Demo Media Player
Choose the matching HLD model when the file will play through the supplied Demo Media Player:
- HLD 16-inch: rotated 1080p HEVC
- HLD 27-inch: rotated 4K HEVC
- HLD 86-inch: rotated 4K HEVC
Demo Media Player files are rotated for the player and display workflow. They are not the same as ordinary portrait videos.

BrightSign
Choose BrightSign when the content will be deployed through a BrightSign digital-signage player. This creates standard portrait 4K H.264 media rather than a rotated Demo Media Player file.

General
Choose General for standard portrait 4K H.264 playback on a computer or another compatible media player.
The General target is also useful for green-screen content intended for musubi. Remove the background in HLD Author, export a General portrait video, and then import that video into the musubi app for depth and Magic Moment processing.
Important
An export made for the Demo Media Player may appear rotated in a standard video player. If that happens, return to HLD Author and export for BrightSign or General instead.
