How do I upload images/videos onto the musubi?

Use the musubi desktop app to import, prepare, organize, and transfer photos or videos to a connected musubi display.

1. Download and open the musubi app on a supported Windows or macOS computer.
2. Select Import and choose one or more photos or videos.
3. Keep the app open while it processes the files locally into musubi-ready media.
4. Open a completed item to adjust its presentation. Available controls depend on whether it is a photo or video and can include depth, scale, masks, and Magic Moment settings.
5. Add the items to an album if you want them to play together.
6. Connect musubi with the included USB-C cable. The display appears to the app through its removable-storage connection.
7. Transfer individual items or an album to the connected display.

The app supports common image formats including JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC, and HEIF, and video formats including MP4, WEBM, and MOV. If a video is longer than 30 seconds, the app asks you to trim it before import.

musubi’s USB-C connection is for power and data transfer. It does not have HDMI input and cannot be used as a live secondary monitor.
