How do I deploy content for the HLD?
Prepare the media in HLD Author, then choose an export target that matches both the display and the playback system. The targets are not interchangeable.
Choose the correct export
- musubi: portrait H.264 for transfer through the musubi app.
- HLD 16-inch Demo Media Player: rotated 1080p HEVC.
- HLD 27-inch or 86-inch Demo Media Player: rotated 4K HEVC.
- BrightSign or General: standard portrait 4K H.264.
A file exported for the Demo Media Player is intentionally rotated and may appear sideways in a standard video player.
Deployment options
Demo Media Player: Use the player supplied with an HLD 16-inch, 27-inch, or 86-inch for local looping playback. Follow the Demo Media Player guide for loading and updating media.
BrightSign: Use BrightSign for professional scheduling, network management, and multi-screen installations. Export the BrightSign version from HLD Author and follow the BrightSign deployment guide.
Other signage systems: Yodeck, Scala, ScreenCloud, OptiSigns, and other platforms may work when they support the required portrait resolution and H.264 playback. Use the General export unless your platform has a dedicated workflow.
Live computer input: The HLD 16-inch, 27-inch, and 86-inch can display a compatible HDMI or DisplayPort signal. The 86-inch also supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
