What computer do I need to run the HLD?

You do not need a separate computer to run the HLD.

Every HLD includes a demo hologram media player (a customized Raspberry Pi 4) for demonstration and experimentation purposes.

For long-term deployed installations or any installations that require cloud management of media, we recommend using a digital signage solution such as BrightSign or Scala. These solutions must support:

• 1080p video output for the HLD 16"
• 4K video output for the HLD 27" and HLD 86"

Both HDMI and DisplayPort (DP) connections are supported. 

Other computer configurations (e.g., Windows PC or macOS) are also compatible, provided they meet the same resolution requirements (1080p for HLD 16", 4K for HLD 27" and HLD 86") via HDMI or DisplayPort.
