My payment failed, what should I do?

Firstly, thanks so much for believing in our product and choosing to support us!

If the payment for an order fails for some reason here are some things to consider:
  • Try again

    I know this sounds super obvious but we've seen that in some cases, likely something has gone wrong temporarily, so try again a little later, perhaps with a different payment method if at all possible.

  • Ensure your address is not a P.O. Box

    Due to courier restrictions and risk of credit card fraud, we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.

  • Bank Reservations

    In some cases, your bank may have reserved the payable amount in your bank account, in anticipation that the amount will be accepted by us. However, this amount will never be claimed by us. After a few days, it will be released by your bank and returned to your account. If your records show money has been charged from your account then please contact your bank to confirm this, and let us know any relevant reference.


If the payment is still not going through, we will manually guide you through a process of a bank transfer, of which Looking Glass will do under certain circumstances. If you need this, write to us at orders [at] lookingglassfactory.com

 

if there is a need for further investigation in the matter we will ask you to provide us with the following additional information details:

  • What is the order number, if available, for the failed order?
  • What browser are you using to make the payment?
  • Are you attempting to pay on mobile or desktop?
  • Provide us with a screenshot showing what is displayed on your screen.
  • State which items were in your carts upon checkout.
